Kevin,
generally, Sarracenias are not the best CPs for a terrarium, because in a
couple of seasons they can get very tall (2-3 feet). In addition, they
require a dormancy period (cold temperatures and reduced light) for 3-5
months, every year. Some short ones ( S. purpurea) or young plants (1-2
years old) will do ok for the summer if you use really strong lights; you
will have to put them out in the cold for the winter, though.

Nepenthes (tropical pitcher plants) on the other hand, would do great in a
terrarium for a long time,
before you have to take them out due to size. E-mail me if you have more
