Paul,
In previous years, when your VFT's created multiple crowns, did you
divide them, or just leave them as clumps? I find that our VFT's create
multiple crowns every year, and late winter/early spring every year I
divide them up into individual plants. That is how I get them to be as
big as I can get them. If I leave them as multiple crowns, the individual
plants aren't as large. You may not WANT more plants, but you're
going to get them whether you want them or not when you grow
VFT's successfully!
