Hi!
A friend is into amphibians so of course he knew about frogs in
Bromeliads but I told him about frogs living and even breeding in
the aggressive fluids of Nepenthes and he wanted to know more.
I found some info in Clarke and in Phillipps/Lamb who both refer
to Philautus (Philautus sp. in N. bicalcarata [in Clarke] resp.
Philautus mjobergii in N. villosa [in Phillipps/Lamb]).
I wonder if other frogs and Nepenthes are known for this curiosity
and I'm also interested in scientific or common names of frogs living
or breeding in Heliamphora, Sarracenia or Darlingtonia. Maybe mini
frogs in Cephalotus? :-)
Best regards, Stefan.
