Subject: Spider Redux

A while back, I mentioned that I saw a spider doing something odd on
my Sarracenia alata. Well, I got it on film & finally got around to
scanning, cropping & adjusting the images & learning to use
DreamWeaver so anyone who has any interest in seeing this can now do
so. The first few images are up at
http://cyclone.kithalsted.com/~kit/cp/SpiderPics.html , I have a few
more I'll add when I have time. If anyone has any theories about
what's going on in the pics, I'd love to know. I'm currently assuming
that some kind of bug larva is maturing among the dead bugs inside
the plant, eating its way out through the side of the pitcher, then
becoming an easy meal for the spider.
