Something that just came to mind is a mention somewhere that Sarracenia
psittacina tend to show juvenile leaves in a peat soil rather than live
Sphagnum.
Sorry that I cannot remember the citation. My S. flava and S.
psittacina exhibited the same type of growth when moved from an indoor
South window and a live moss medium to an outdoor bog, full sun and
peat.
