While we're on the subject, my S. Oreophilia (Sand
Mountain, I think) just put out a *short* flower
stalk, about 1 inch tall; the all-green flower opened
today.
I've never seen such short flower stalks on sarracenia
before; this is a plant with 12-15" pitchers. I've
only had it for a few months, and don't know its
idiosyncracies yet. Is this unusual?
