Subject:       Carnivore or not to carnivore


    On this definition of carnivorsous plant issue. Yes capture,and
absorption of nutrients would fit the technical definition of carnivore.
Enyzme production suggest evolutionary specialization and deliberate
proof of carnivorous adaptation. Thus could describe a politically
correct, meaningful definition of a plant carnivore.
    As to symbiotic digestion, I recall termites can't digest wood. Not
without a symbiotic protozoa. While that can be comforting to know about
termites, in the end it doesn't do your house any good.
