Subject: Pitcher Plants' Flowers

Please bear with me. I am not familiar with the
terminology.

My pitcher plants flowered 4-5 months ago and the
'petals' have fallen off about 1-2 months ago. But
some of the 'petals' are still attached to the stems.
The flowers' bases have swollen. Is that where the
seed pods are? How do I extract the seeds? Do I have
to wait for the stems totally die off and turned
brown?
