I've contacted Heiko Rischer who wrote the original article in the
Carnivorous Plants Newsletter, and here's his response on the availability
of Seramis and Lecaton:
"This seems to be the major problem as I notice from so many letters. I
don't know whether Seramis is obtainable in the US. A substitute for
Lecaton is probably any kind of hydroponic material. This should be sold
over there."
