William,
I live in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and I have been
successfully growing the following Nepenthes by a
southern windowsill during the winter and a northern
windowsill the rest of the year:
N. mirabilis
N. khasiana
N. alata
N. coccinea
N. isle de France
N. (?) gorgeous hybrids from Home Depot
I keep the temperature at 69 F during the winter, and
75 F the rest of the year. The plants grow and
pitcher without any problems.
Take care,
Michael PAgoulatos
