Did anyone watch the first episode of the Sci-Fi series "Andromeda"?
There's a scene where a human-looking alien woman happens upon a
floral preservation area in the starship Andromeda. She's heard to
comment "I thought these species were extinct!" At that moment the
camera is focusing on her through some glass terrariums featuring
Sarracenias! Aha! They will exist 300 years from now - at least
somewhere ....
