N. maxima is a rather fast growing species with green mottled w/red
pitchers about 6-10" under my conditions. The one that I have I got
from Orgel's Orchids about year ago. I think that it's supposed to be a
highland, but mine is going great guns under temps about 80F day and
60-70F night. I have it growing in live sphagnum.
Now, I haven't rooted the plant. In fact, I haven't even cut it yet. I hope
that it'll be OK to send it through the mail using the chop-and-ship method.
