PS: For anyone near or in the Seattle area: On January 28th, the
Center for Urban Horticulture is running a short class called "From
Cell to Sell". This class (8AM to 1PM) will visit a commercial
micropropagator (I forget the name) and a commercial _in_vitro_ grower
of tropical orchids. Apparently the orchids are about at their peak of
bloom, so it should be a good trip in several different ways. I have
signed up for this, and I hope to find out a lot about micro- and
_in_vitro_ propagation in a big hurry!
