I've just finished looking through the most recent CPN which came in
the mail today (hurrah!). I'm sure you all will pore over your copies
when you get them, but there was a note which bears on a discussion
we've been having, regarding our Sphagno-phagous Irish contributor.
Apparently the Fuqua Conservatory in Atlanta has found that
three weeks stratification at 38F (3C) is sufficient to break dormancy
in _Sarracenia_ seeds. The seeds do well after this with bottom heat.

I truly enjoyed Don Schnell's thrashing of LeCoufle's book. He's been
reading a little Ambrose Bierce it seems! But I think the book merits
his treatment!
