I'm not sure what that means...if you are asking if it is an ant symbiont
I'm fairly sure it isn't. It is one of the "Devil's Claw" type plants,
native to S. America and introduced to S. California--N. Mexico (Although
Juniper et al. incorrectly claim it is native there). It is on the list
of possible CP.
