He has four green houses. Yes, it takes too long for my patience from
polination to flowering....years. Actually, more impressive is one
of his friend who is in his 80's now who lives on Maui. Roy Fukumura
has a collection worth in the thousands and he does meristem work, etc.
He has several plants that he got from Thailand each worth like $5,000
or so used for breeding. They all get together for the annual orchid
show in Honolulu once a year and some of them also go for the World
Orchid Show, who knows where...
