I have received this plant twice under the names N. x hookeriana
"cultivated type" and N. x balfouriana (I've been growing this one for
at least 10 years). I'm not sure if the male plant is N. hirsuta as
Bruce claims. Nepenthes with green pitchers are too common and the fact
that the hybrid is slightly hairy doesn't mean much - I can feel hairs
on most of my Nepenthes plants when I stroke the stem slightly.
