In my experience, D. aliciae will, D. binata generally won't. Anyone else?

Might be the light levels. They tend to close up if the light level goes
down. They seed like weeds, which they can easily become.
I have a question - does anyone know if D. capensis and D. aliciae will
cross? I think it would be a nice plant if it were possible.
