In Java, you can expect _N.gymnamphora_ together with some lowland species.
No endemic species is known from Java. Bali looks even worse. As a rule you
can say where tourism is developed best, _Nepenthes_ isn't. Anyway, Indonesia
is fascinating and your fellow will in any case enjoy the trip. But don't
expect sensations if he isn't familiar with _Nepenthes_ (and does not like
to climb mountains in the tropical rain forest).
