I grow mine in regular potting soil. It depends really on how humid your
area is. One of my friends grows his in a greenhouse and uses almost pure
pumice. They die in my place if I use that. They like heat and humidity,
but if it gets too hot, they just don't grow; they will go into a kind of
dormancy.

I don't have much of the steenky one right now, but my greenhouse owner
friend has lots of it. I will see what I can do. Email me an address.
