The moranensis forms seem to divide well when actively growing.
If yours isn't dormant I'd probably divide it. In fact I'm
thinking of dividing mine, which is now producing carnivorous
leaves (I think). Peter D'Amato showed me his collection of
Mexican pings, many of which were growing, I guess, nearly
epiphetically. The strong, curled, leaves had pulled the plants
out of the soil, and the humidity was high enought that the
few thin roots trailing into the soil and the leaves themselves
seemed to be keeping the plant perfectly happy. I've been thinking
it'd be neat to grow some Mex. pings on an epiphetic moss stick.
One of my old CPN issues shows them growing on the sides of mossy
trees in Mexico, in what's probably live spaghnum.
