This sounds like the behavior of my P. moranensis `G' (The G is
a locator designator used by Peter D'Amato in the event the
forms or sub-species are ever full described). My plant put up
carnivorous leaves and flowers almost year-round, except for
a short stretch when nighttime temps dropped to 30 F. Then I
got the short fuzzy leaves. This stage only lasted a couple
of months however, and the old carnivorous leaves didn't die
away before growth was renewed.
