The way I understand it, Nepenthes do not have a dormant period per say.
They do slow down in the winter and burst out in the summer. My
N. Alata was very slow until about two months ago and now it is exploding with
pitchers and shoots. Almost all of my Nepenthes do this. From talking to
Peter D'Amato, he said his plants behave the same way.
