Hyponex peat isn't really peat. It is black sedge muck that has been
dried enough to make it easy to handle. In addition, I think that
Hyponex routinely adds fertilizers to most of their packaged soil
products. I would think that these attributes make it highly undesirable
for using with CPs (or much of anything else for that matter). I hate
Hyponex 'soils' (I use the term soil loosely) because they compact and
break down so fast. There isn't really anything reconizable in them
either.
