heh heh....I live in Seattle, remember?! This is a pretty good
description of June here. :) (We have had such a cool spring/summer this
year that one of my friends' Cephalotus, grown outside, have shown almost
no growth yet). It is also notable that even when it gets really hot for
Seattle (like 90s), it always gets cold at night.

I lost both of my killed-off Cephalotus to rot during the middle of
summer, with them standing in water. It may have been something else too;
I'm not sure. I never let the trays go dry though. At any rate, it was
suggested that I grow them out of the trays; that is what both of the
really rabid CP nuts here do with great results. Works for me! (And I
was picking up my pot of Cephalotus a couple of months ago, and it slipped
out of my hand and went bouncing off the table onto the floor, with plenty
of root disturbance - it had also been repotted a month earlier - and it
didn't seem to mind it much, though I'm not going to go trying it again
any time soon!
