The trip report is indeed fascinating! Do we have the ability (and your
permission, of course!) to scan in some of your photographs to distribute
here, in perhaps JPEG format? It would be great to be able to see where
they grow best on their own, and how they look without careful
hand-trimming of dead pitchers. I was in North Carolina last summer, and a
park ranger near the coast that I asked had never heard of pitcher-shaped
plants, or wild VFTs either.
