An old CPN article by (as I recally) Bob Ziemer said that he
found his plants didn't like the perlite added to H. mix. Who
knows however. I'm no longer a bit fan for life moss since I
had it breakdown in my Nepenthes plants.

My one Darlingtonia plant is in pure live (?) spaghnum, in a clay
pot, standing in water all the time. I mist it & splash water
on it once in a while, but that's about it. It's small but
healthy.
