Well, there is an annual (?) race for solar powered vehicles here, but not
actually any everyday solar vehicles. We do have solar hotwater services,
outback solar-powered phone boxes, and solar-powered navigation lighting (for
shipping) though. I did see a wind-powered "car" once (sort of a modified
land yacht) driven by a couple of "hippies". I think they were coming back
from a protest at one of the American bases in central Oz somewhere...
