Well (and I'm not making this one up) I recall watching a documentary
that mentioned a peculiar caterpillar that leads an aquatic life (yes, a
real caterpillar---a larval butterfly). And this footage showed the
underwater caterpillar happily munching away on, as the narrator informed
us, "lake-weed". I called it _Utricularia gibba_.
