I've heard about this too.

While I usually avoid hybrid plants, I did get some _Heliamphora_ hybrids.
Ron told me one was particularly easy to grow (as the genus goes) so if nothing
else, I hope to get some experience on the genus.

Well, as the most active researcher of Australian CP in the wild, I
think that Allen has a set of credentials that should not be
underestimated. His IDs of the Australian plants he sells are
excellent. His prices are a bit high, compared to some sources, but he
has a lot of out-of-the-way items. Also he is very prompt with orders.
I have had a somewhat spotty record of germination with seed from
him---but recall that many of the plants he sells grow in seasonally
arid locations and plants in those locations are often very hard to
germinate.

While John Hummer gets my highest rating for places to get quality plants in
North America, Lowrie rates as my Australian alpha-male.

P.S. CPN arrives! I see that the note on the newsgroup finally appeared!
