Barry, the seed came from the CPN seedbank about 2 or 2.5 years ago. Is this
your way of insinuating that I field collected last time I was in India? :) I
haven't been to India for quite some time now. You wanna plant or not?
Michael, I'll be happy to send you a plant. But you (and Barry too, you
Arizonan) gotta remember that this species likes to be kept cool, ideally under
75F. They will tolerate an occasional hot day, but they won't grow too well
under lowland Nepenthes conditions. Still want one?
Pekka, the plants are still too small for me to make any worthwhile cuttings.
If you remind me, I will send you some cuttings when the plants get a little
bigger, maybe in 6 months or so...
Jeff, no thanks on the D Adelae. Good luck with the greenhouse!
Robert, if mail to doug.atlas@noplace.com bounces,
doug.atlas%noplace.com@clarknet.clark.net *should* work.
Speaking of Nepenthes, I'm happy to report that my N Maxima which almost died
of heat shock a few months ago has recovered fully (whew!).
For those of you who want a N Khasiana, please send me your address. I will
try to send one to everyone who wants one. I want to send them out within a
week or so, before the really cold weather sets in.
Doug
