I also like to keep reptiles and amphibians although I'm restricted in
the kinds that are allowed into Hawaii. I have a tiger salander and five
three-toed box turtles. I always wanted an ornate box turtle but read
somewhere that they are hard to raise compared to the common box turtles.
I saw a few ornates in the pet shops but they did not look as healthy
or active as the common ones.
