I used to routinely spray my plants with Benlate in the early stages of winter
dormancy to as a preventative measure against "Grey Mould". More recently I
haven't worried about doing it (I forgot/couldn't be bothered/couldn't find a
sprayer that still worked/etc... ;-) ) - without any problems. Unless you
really have to, I wouldn't bother messing with fungicides - you can probably
avoid/kill many fungi/moulds by adjusting the environmental factors such as
humidity, watering and airflow. There are probably more risks to yourself
than your plants when you use any chemicals and fungicides seem to be one of
the nastier variaties of sprays around.
