I recently bought a small bag of orchid mix to use to a cp lanting mixture
(they were out of peat moss). I expressed concern that the mix would have
something in it (fertilizer, etc) that might harm my plants. The main
ingredient that concerned me was chopped redwood bark. I interrogated the
salesman (from the company who manufactured the mix) and he swore that
there was nothing in the mix that would act as a fertilizer or harm the plant.
I haven't used it yet.
Any thoughts?
