Hybrid: D. Capensis x D. Binata?

It happens that I have D. Capensis and D. Binata in bloom at the
same time and in close proximity. It occurred to me that I
might try to cross pollinate the plants. Has anyone tried this
with these two plants? Are they sufficiently different that
it won't work? If it does work, what sort of plant might
be expected? The D. Binata has only a few good flowers left,
so I'd appreciate a response in the next day or so. Thanks!
