It's getting darned cold here in Palo Alto, 30
miles from San Francisco. Why, last night it
may actually have gotten down to 33, or even 32,
degrees F.! :-).

For those interested, so far N. fusca and N. khasiana
seem to be loving these temps. My D. binata complex
has mostly gone dormant except for a D. multifida extrema.
All US species are dormant. 'starting to get pygmy
gemmae. The other day I found an acorn that had
sprouted, buried in my pot. Some tugging pulled it
loose. damned squirrels....

P. moranensis G is flowering, P. gypsicola x ehlersia
is flowering, but will go dormant later. Aquatic U.
gibba is still flowering. Aquatic U. inflata is producing
some rather large bladders near the growth point; I don't
know if it's going dormant yet or not.
