Hello;

I am new to your this discussion group. My name is Peter
Northcote, and I am currently a senior research scientist in
a pharmaceutical firm (American Cyanamid) here in New York.
My interest in CP dates back to my pre-teens and blossomed in
my undergraduate years, when I had a large collection in a
greenhouse at my parents in Vancouver Canada. When I left
home I donated my plants to the university where they
survived for a number of years, finally succumbing to
neglect. Over the years I maintained my interest by finding
and photographing CP in my travels. I now have a small
collection of plants that I have obtained from seed and have
obtained from others.

I have recently accepted an academic position in New
Zealand, and my wife and I will be moving there in the new
year. We hope to settle down quickly and by a house, and I
of course want to re-start my collection of plants.

My current problem is the proper disposal of my present
meager collection. If anyone in the greater NYC area would
like any of the following please contact me so we can make
arrangements. I would only ask that in the future I might
obtain starting material from you.

Plants available:

Drosera filiformis filiformis (NJ Pine Barrens)
Drosera intermedia (New York)
Drosera rotundifolia (New York)
Drosera capensis (purchased commercially)
Drosera prolifera (from Christoph Belanger)

Dionea musipula (purchased commercially)

Sarracenia minor (S. Georgia)
Sarracenia pupurea venosa (NJ Pine Barrens)
Sarracenia leucophylla (purchased commercially)
Sarracenia rubra (Taylor County Georgia) from Phil Sheridan
This is apparently a rare form

Pinguicula pachuca (from Rob Maharajh)

Utricularia sandersoni (from Christoph Belanger)
Utricularia livida
Utricularia longifolia (from Christoph Belanger)
Utricularia nephrophylla (from Christoph Belanger)
Utricularia tricolour

If there is no interest I will probably donate them to the
NY Botanic Garden, but I would prefer them to go to people
that would look after them.

When I get down to New Zealand I will be happy to be a
source for New Zealand CP.
