Given the time of year, and your description, there's an
excellent chance that your VFT is doing what all VFTs do
this time of year, going dormant. Take it out of the
water tray, let it get cold (it can survive a light frost
in the worst case), and let the soil dry to a non-soggy,
just damp, state. The leaves will die back but the center
and the underground part should stay green/white and healthy.
If the underground part turns black, your plant is dead.
In spring new growth will shoot up and you can start watering
again.
