The subscription info tells me that it's customary to POST a quick intro
when you're new to this list so, here goes...
My name is Andrew Broome, I live in Palmerston North, New Zealand (any other
Kiwis out there?). While I haven't currently got any carnivorous plants I've
had an interest in them since I picked up a Venus Flytrap while I was at
primary school (15 or so years ago). Since then I've kept a few specimens of
the commonly available species (well, common in NZ anyway) such as various
Drosera spp (is D. capensis a weed in other peoples collection too? ),
butterworts, flytraps etc etc etc.
I've developed a bit of an interest for the assorted Nepethes spp and have
aquired a few specimens for friends but since I don't have my own place I
have never kept any myself.
I do have one question, since I'm an information addict, is there an archive
or previous POSTs or does anyone have some they could send me so I can see the
sorts of things discussed here?
BTW: You can blame Oleg for my presence here...
