My name is Matthew Thompson and I have been subscribing to the CPN for a
year now. Thanks to Barry Meyers-Rice for telling me about this
listserv. I am a sophomore at Texas A&M University in College Station,
Texas, and I am majoring in Horticulture with an emphasis on genetics.
I have been trying to grow CPs for upwards of 8 years now, but I didn't
have much success with them until I found the CPN in our library. I am
now successfully growing Drosera rotundafolia, capensis, and spathulata
NZ. as well as many flytraps and several S. purpurea purpurea. I am
working on getting Nepenthes into my collection, but am having trouble
getting the ones I have to germinate. That's one of the many reasons
I'm here. I'll talk to you all very soon.
