Dear Matthew,
Now I understand better what you are looking for. Well here at Reading
we have several glasshouses, a large one is dedicated to purely taxonomic
collections. Our interests are mainly mediterranean but we have good
collections of succulents/cacti. Our CP collection is of a fair size but
nevertheless interesting. There are many rare endemics in our collections
as a whole and we also hold the UK National Iris Collection in our
grounds. We also have a dedicated Botanic / Amenity garden. Our address
is The University of Reading, Whiteknight, Reading, Berkshire, RG6 2AS, UK.

Although not a University in its own right the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew
is an associated institution of the University of Reading. In terms of
size of collections and prestige Kew is the truly excellent.

I know of good University Botanic gardens at Oxford, Leicester, Bristol
and not forgetting the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh with its association
to Edinburgh University.

Hope this helps
Rupert
