Hello again from Aggieland,

I have some S. pur. pur. seeds that I germinated recently. Right now

they basically look like parsley. I realize that this is the immature form,

but what I want to know is how long they will be in this form. Also, if anyone

knows, what is the critical photoperiod and whether it's a short day or long
day plant? By critical photoperiod, I mean the amount of light (actually it's
dark) the plant needs to have a certain response, which would be either
flowering or vegatative growth. Short day and long day refers to whether the
plant needs less light than this photoperiod or more light than this photo-
period to produce the response. Thanks again.
