I had quite a lot of trouble getting my "nicer" Nepenthes to
pitcher, even though I thought I had the right growing parameters.

It wasn't until I took the suggestion from one of the readers (whose
name I cannot recall) to use a combination of the following:

Superthrive
DynaGrow KLN & Pro-Tekt

All of my Nepenthes are fed from the same reservoir and the system
is closed (meaning that there is no drainage). I feed the plants
1 drop of superthrive, 3 of the KLN and 2 of the Pro-Tekt.

I think the Superthrive makes the biggest difference. One plant
of mine had never pitchered. In fact, I didn't even know what the
pitchers looked like. A month after I started this regimine,
the plant produced a huge, picture perfect trap. It is currently
working on another.

Beware: do not exceed what I have specified above, or if you do,
do it _very_ slowly. A huge blast of any of these fertilizers
could kill the plant.
