The building is air conditioned and I can't open the windows. To answer
another earlier comment, I actually have no fruit in the room, and the only
other plant is a "spider" plant (I don't know the genus sp.).

I am a little amazed at the followups to my comment, in a good way! I
usually don't post much as most of you are way beyond me in botanical
knowledge :-).
