Well...more just flaring out rather than in. I think of it like an
umbrella because it inverts the curvature like an umbrella in a strong wind.
It has to go through a little energy maximum though, so it seems to "pop"
into the inverted form in a matter of few hours in my experience. As far
as a good verbal description, someone offer up "tuba". I think that works
nicely.
