Your suppliers are right and wrong. "Carnivorous Plant" - The Wisley
Handbook Series, was temporarily out of print as a result of a new
print run to include modifications and new pictures. I'm pleased to
say the book is much improved and even carries a picture of a live
plant on the front cover - as compared to the previous publisher's
effort of a dead Sarracenia flower!!!
Therefore you can order it if you like and tell them to accept no
excuses from suppliers.
Alternatively, if you send me a snail mail address, I'll send you a
copy (signed if you want - is there no limit to my vanity?). No
payment expected, not even for mail. However, if you have any North
American Ping's spare, I'd appreciate any for the UK National
Collection! Don't worry if you haven't any. The deal still stands.
