*Anyone else out there renting RO units from Culligan? I am, as is a friend
*in Nogales. We both discovered the unsettling fact that our units are
*producing equal amounts of waste water and product water. These things
*are supposed to produce waste:pure water in about a 3:1 to 9:1 ratio.
*I'm having a repair man come out this week.

*What's a good, inexpensive way to test water quality? What agency or
*whatever does one call?

The most important concern for CP is the ionic content of the water. Many
scientific supply companies have inexpensive hand-held conductivity meters for
sale, less then $50. My tap water is usually between 200-300 micromhos/cm. I
have used this water for the past ten years on all my plants and have not had
any problems.
