Barry and I have both had very good luck growing Drosophyllum in Arizona.
It can take full sun here, so long as it is protected from prolonged
triple-digit temps.

I am under the impression this plant is much harder to grow in the
north, and in England. It wants a lot of room and a lot of light, dry
air and moist (not wet) soil.
