Sorting through the large amount of e-mail
which piled up, I was particularly happy to see
postings from Andreas Wistuba and Michael Haseman (sp?).
Andreas, it's good to hear that you're home
and in good shape. Your brief description of the trip
to New Guinea piqued my interest. I hope you'll post
a longer version of it sometime.
Michael, thanks for contacting Mr. Westphal for
us. I had spent quite a bit of time (and a few dollars)
trying to send him a FAX, and trying to leave a clear
message on his answering machine (in English) just in
case the FAX wasn't clear. This was done on behalf
of Don Burden for those of us who are ordering plants
from Mr. Westphal. Until now I have not received a
FAX reply, and my FAX number is valid 24 hours a day,
7 days a week. From your posting it seems that he
has received the FAX and understands our position.
I feel happier, now that it seems we understand one
another :)
After my 10 day absence I really need to work
with my plants. I'm going to put my Nepenthes outside
shortly, if I can just untangle them from one another.
It's good to be back!
