I don't suggest you try to trick your tuberous Drosera. I'd just grow them
and fertilize them weekly until they decide to go into dormancy. I like
to grow mine in a 50/50 sand/peat, but the occasional weed seedling D.peltata
gets into a Sarracenia pot and does fine in the Sphagnum. But don't get me
wrong---I'm no tuberous guru.
